Please do not submit confidential, highly sensitive, patient, customer, employee, or proprietary information through our website forms or during a program unless National Leader Forum has specifically requested it and appropriate safeguards are in place.

How We Use Information

Sponsored Programs and Sponsor Communications

Some National Leader Forum sessions, surveys, reports, and related activities may be supported by a program sponsor, while other programs may proceed without a sponsor. A sponsor may be confirmed before or after you register or agree to participate. If a sponsor is confirmed after you register or agree to participate, we will identify the sponsor and describe the applicable information-sharing arrangement before we disclose your information to that sponsor.

The information disclosed may include:

Your name and business email address.
Your job title, employer or organization, industry, and other relevant professional information.
The fact that you registered for, attended, listened to, or participated in the program.
Professional interests, topics, questions, or challenges you submitted in connection with the program.
Your selected charity and information reasonably necessary to confirm a contribution made in recognition of your participation.
Other information specifically identified in the registration form or program notice.

An identified program sponsor may use this information to:

Help administer the sponsored activity.
Send confirmation or documentation of a charitable contribution associated with your participation.
Send session materials, survey invitations, survey results, executive summaries, or related educational content.
Provide a resource, assessment, workshop, consultation, or other offer related to the subject of the program.
Follow up with you about the challenges, priorities, tools, or questions discussed during the program.
Invite you to a closely related future National Leader Forum or sponsor-supported activity.

Some sponsor communications may promote the sponsor’s products or services. Sponsors are responsible for identifying themselves, complying with applicable privacy and email-marketing requirements, and honoring applicable unsubscribe or opt-out requests.

We require sponsors receiving program information to use it only for the sponsored program and reasonably related follow-up unless you separately authorize broader use. Sponsors may not sell or rent participant information, transfer it to unrelated parties, upload it to advertising audiences, or add it to unrelated marketing lists.

The registration page, confirmation email, or another program notice may provide additional information about the sponsor and the specific information-sharing arrangement. If a sponsor has not yet been selected when you register or agree to participate, we may notify you after registration or confirmation. We will not disclose your information to a newly identified sponsor until we have provided that notice. If you do not want your information disclosed to the sponsor, you may withdraw before the disclosure occurs or contact us to ask whether an alternative participation option is available.

Other Ways We Disclose Information

We may also disclose personal information as reasonably necessary to:

Service providers that help us host and operate the website, manage forms and registrations, organize virtual events, process charitable contributions, send email, analyze website use, or provide technical and administrative support.
Session facilitators, organizers, speakers, referral partners, or other program partners when needed to respond to your request or administer an activity in which you choose to participate.
Government authorities, professional advisers, or other parties when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, security, or the integrity of our services.

National Leader Forum does not operate as a data broker and does not sell or rent personal information as a standalone product. Sponsorship arrangements may include the sponsor’s receipt of program participant information for the purposes described above. Some privacy laws define a “sale” or “sharing” broadly to include certain disclosures made in exchange for monetary or other valuable consideration. Where such laws apply, we will provide the notices, consent mechanisms, or opt-out choices they require.

We do not disclose participant information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not permit program sponsors to use participant lists to create advertising audiences.

Email Communications

National Leader Forum may email you about a request you submitted, a group or program in which you expressed interest, registration details, charitable-contribution confirmation, surveys, results, executive summaries, or closely related activities.

An identified program sponsor may also email you for the program-related purposes described in this policy and in the registration notice. If a message contains marketing or promotional content, the sender must provide any disclosures and unsubscribe method required by applicable law.

You may ask National Leader Forum to stop sending non-essential emails by using an unsubscribe option when provided or by contacting us at the address below. You may need to unsubscribe separately from sponsor communications using the method provided by that sponsor. If you have difficulty stopping sponsor communications that resulted from a National Leader Forum program, you may contact us and we will assist with communicating your request.

Opting out of marketing messages will not prevent National Leader Forum or a program sponsor from sending limited non-promotional messages reasonably necessary to administer an activity for which you registered, document a charitable contribution, respond to a request, or satisfy legal obligations.

We also require service providers and program sponsors receiving participant information to apply reasonable safeguards appropriate to the information they receive. However, no website, email system, or method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Children’s Privacy

The website and National Leader Forum programs are intended for professionals and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the website, please contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

Third-Party Services and Privacy Policies

The website may link to third-party websites or services. Program sponsors and other third parties may also process information under their own privacy policies.
